Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo is a private, public-service, nonprofit university founded in 1972 by a group of young professionals committed to Dominican society. INTEC was created as an innovative university determined to contribute to the social transformation of the Dominican Republic. From the beginning it has offered graduate programs, short continuing education courses, scientific research and publishing activities, and undergraduate degrees.
