Technical Assistance Program

The FINPYME® diagnostic reviews culminate in recommendations for short-, medium-, and long-term strategic and operating actions in each of the subject company’s functional areas. These recommendations are set out in a report titled “Competitiveness Improvement Plans” and are aimed at improving the company’s competitive position and access to bank financing.

The IIC has developed a program to offer technical assistance (general and tailor-made) to each of these companies to help them improve their competitiveness based on the results of the FINPYME® diagnostic reviews.

The IIC has developed three types of technical assistance:

  • All FINPYME® participants will receive general technical assistance geared to help them improve in areas where all participating companies have weaknesses.
  • Companies that score between 60 and 75 will receive tailored technical assistance offered by the corresponding university.
  • Companies that score 75 and above will receive tailored technical assistance offered by the IIC.
